The Australian Stem Cell Centre (ASCC) was founded to unite and build Australia’s strength in the field of stem cell research. In 2002 the ASCC was selected as Australia’s Biotechnology Centre of Excellence. However, on 30 June 2011 the ASCC’s government funding comes to an end and the ASCC will be closing its doors. As such, this will be the ASCC’s last edition of Stem Cell News.

If you are interested in seeing Stem Cell News continue into the future as part of a new initiative then please complete our quick online survey by 1 August 2011.

You can view this month's newsletter online.

We thank all of you, our readers and contributors, and invite you to keep an eye out for future Australian stem cell research initiatives.
