With new technologies developing so fast, it is difficult for students and teachers alike to keep up to date. Add into the mix skewed media reporting, some creative science fiction
films and the unregulated world of the internet, and it becomes
increasingly hard to separate fact from fiction.
As Australia’s largest
funding body for stem cell science, the ASCC wanted to help introduce
stem cell science into the classroom.
We're pleased to offer this FREE resource for teachers – a six chapter Stem Cell Teachers’ Kit ranging in topics from cell differentiation and gene signalling to the ethical considerations in this field.
The Kit contains:
- over 30 handouts and activities (with teachers' copy)
- common
acronyms and glossary
- additional PowerPoint presentations
- a Curriculum Guide
- demonstrating which activities are relevant to biology in your
state, as well as examples for Religious Education and Philosophy.

here to download the Content Page, Introduction for Teachers, Overview, and suggested Teaching Scenarios.
For a complete copy of the Kit please
